Thought Experiments on the Question of Being Human: Living in Multiple Realities
Infinity Box Theatre Project is proud to present its 6th annual "Thought Experiments on the Question of Being Human" at Pacific Science Center in conjunction with the "What is Reality" Experience Mashup.

This year our theme is "Living in Multiple Realities."

"Measures of Perception" by Darian Lindle. Directed by K Brian Neel

Featuring:
Alyssa Kay and Sherif Amin.

"Love in the Cave" by Jane Ryan. Directed by Wiley Basho Gorn

Featuring:
Harry Todd Jamieson, Miranda Bumstead and Taigé Lauren.

"Augmented Roommates" by L Nicol Cabe. Directed by Emily Harvey

Featuring:
Queenelle Gazmen, Minna Lee and Kinsey Lahn.

"Oh, Grandfather" by Wayne Rawley. Directed by Meghan Arnette

Featuring:
Skye C. Stephenson, Marena Kleinpeter and Michael Blum.

We invited four scientists who work in Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality and how they might affect us and our perception of the world - or what they might reveal. We paired each scientist with a local Seattle playwright. Their collaborations lead to the creation of four intriguing short plays, each exploring the science underlying how we experience the various realities that are becoming open to us - and how living in them may change us.

This year our scientist/playwright pairs are:

Jane Ryan and Mar Gonzales Franco, Ph.D., whose research tries to achieve strong immersive experiences using different disciplines;

Darian Lindle and Max Di Luca, Ph.D., a researcher who uses psychophysical experiments and computational modeling to understand how human perception works;

L. Nicol Cabe and Franziska Roesner, Ph.D. whose research focuses on computer security and privacy; and

Wayne Rawley and Laura Trutoiu, Ph.D. a domain expert in virtual and mixed reality.

Staged readings of the plays will be presented in the PACCAR IMAX Theater on Friday, October 12 and Saturday, October 13 at 7:30 pm and also inside "What is Reality" Sunday afternoon, October 14.

All tickets for October 12 and 13 are Choose-Your-Own-Price. Sunday, October 14 is included in PSC admission.
